Capt. Ray Williamson is volunteering in Indonesia. He has turned his energy to coordinating the use of indigenous vessels in the relief effort after working at an aid center filling supply tubs for families in need. "The extent of the disaster was not immediately apparent," he wrote. "People outside of the country knew more than we did."
